Camilla Wright
Camilla Wright (Soprano) is a graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where she completed a Bachelor of Music and Masters of Opera.
Her international debut as Rita in Donizetti’s Rita at Bogotá’s Téatro Colón marked a defining milestone in her flourishing career. Celebrated for her radiant stage presence, technical finesse, and expressive vocal storytelling, she has captivated audiences across Australia and abroad in opera, concert, and recital.
Recent engagements include Handa Opera at Millthorpe’s Stars of Tomorrow Concert, Handel’s Messiah with the Penrith Symphony Orchestra under Paul Terracini, opening the 2025 Music Arts Awards, a sold‑out Viva Italia with Symphony Central Coast, and acclaimed portrayals of Donna Eleanora in Salieri’s Prima la Musica, Mrs Heartfelt in Mozart’s Der Schauspieldirektor and Woglinde in Wagner’s Das Rheingold.
Her repertoire spans beloved lyric and coloratura roles such as Alice Ford, Lucia, Adina, Adele, and Olympia. Camilla has performed with ensembles both locally and internationally, including appearances with the Chinese Three Tenors at the Sydney Opera House and tours with Australian Global Entertainment. Her celebrated Utzon Room recitals further affirm her artistry as a compelling interpreter of opera and art song.
