Keara Donohoe

Keara Donohoe (Mezzo) is a graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.  Keara regularly performs with The Song Company, Musica Viva, and Cantillation.  Currently she sings with the Opera Australia chorus.  Keara spent two years singing for Opera Australia’s Oz Opera schools tour program, bringing opera to primary schools across NSW.  She has been involved in a creative development operatic production of iconic Australian novel Cloudstreet, working with Gale Edwards.  In addition to opera, Keara performs early music, music theatre, cabaret and jazz, including a stint as backing vocalist for Michael Bublè.  Keara starred as Kitty Clarke in the world premiere production of Morgan’s Run: The Musical, written by Colleen McCullough and Gavin Lockley. She has worked in New York, recording the lead role of Heloise in Enrico Garzilli’s Rage of the Heart, and has been a soloist on tours in the United States and Singapore.
