Opera . . . in a pub?  You heard right!  Opera Bites brings best-loved opera hits to the relaxed atmosphere of your local pub.

​

Opera Bites has partnered with The Harold in Glebe to bring you the world’s favourite opera highlights in the relaxed environs of a great local pub.  

​

​Tickets are $45 + booking fee and include a 90-minute, fully costumed show, upstairs at The Harold.  Show starts at 7.30 pm. 

 

Fabulous  food and drinks  are available  for separate purchase at the venue.  HAPPY HOUR from 5-7pm.  All day kitchen open till 10pm for pre-, mid- or post-show dining.

Of course, there are other getaways in opera too just as exciting as a holiday – where heroes and heroines escape the villain at the last minute! Sit back in the cozy and welcoming ambience of your friendly local pub and join Opera Bites in a getaway of operatic proportions!

Opera is full of unexpected situations and escapades. From cases of mistaken identity to secret assignations to being cast away on a foreign shore. And the solutions and shenanigans the characters come up with to solve their problems are just as creative and unexpected! Join Opera Bites in the friendly atmosphere of a fantastic local pub to explore all the Hijinx of opera – from Carmen to A Masked Ball and more!
