Peter-John Layton

Peter-John Layton (Tenor) was a Co-Founder of Opera Bites and continues to perform with the company regularly.  His roles with Opera Bites include Ernesto in Don Pasquale, Nemorino in L'elisir d'amore, Alfredo in La Traviata, Belmonte in Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Don Jose in Carmen, Fenton in The Merry Wives of Windsor, Alfred in Die Fledermaus, Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, Jacquino in Fidelio, Count Almaviva in The Barber of Seville, Don Basilio in The Marriage of Figaro, Oberon in The Fairy Queen and Captain Silvio in Doctor Miracle. With Rockdale Opera Peter-John has sung Count Panatellas in La Perichole, Laertes in Mignon, Colonel Fairfax in The Yeomen of the Guard, Bartucci in Paganini, Uldino in Attila, Lieutenant, the Duke of Dunstable in Patience, Fenton in The Merry Wives of Windsor, Paris in La Belle Helene, Nanki Poo in The Mikado, Tarara in Utopia Limited, Lord Francaise in Fra Diavolo and Richard Dauntless in Ruddigore. He returned to Rockdale Opera in 2015 to perform the role of Mr Box in Cox and Box.
